ISIS militants attack Iraqi military, PMF unit in Khanaqin, Dibis
Islamic State (ISIS) militants attacked Iraqi forces and a unit of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in Khanaqin and Dibis districts late on Saturday.In a statement, the PMF, also known as Hashid al-Shaabi, said its fighters had repelled an ISIS attack near the village of Aliyawa in Khanaqin.A PMF fighter was killed during clashes with the militants, it added. In Dibis, clashes erupted between the Iraqi military and a group of ISIS militants after the militants attacked a military point of the army in an area in the district.
