Unidentified assailants kill at least 20 people in Tillaberi

Unidentified assailants attacked Bani Bangou, Tillaberi Region, overnight May 4/5, killing at least 16 Nigerien soldiers and four civilians. The attackers reportedly launched two coordinated assaults resulting in a heavy gunfight with security forces.
